The Fällkniven CC4 is a double-sided ceramic sharpening stone, with synthetic sapphire as a binding agent. The result is an extremely hard and wear and tear resistant sharpening stone. A wear and tear resistant sharpening stone also means that the stone can be really small. Great if you spend time on the road and want to sharpen your knives.

Currently my favourite pocket stone that you can get today. I have an old dc4 from before fallkinven changed their design and it’s my favourite. I find the new DC 4 to be too coarse so I didn’t like it as much. This sharpens well. I’ve used it to sharpen everything from basic carbon steel up to elmax and it does a good job. The polished side won’t entirely remove all the scratches made by the coarse side but it’s decent for in the field.
