Dit is een alleskunner. Het perfecte formaat voor alle mogelijke taken. Het voordeel van de vormgeving is dat je knokkels niet op de snijplank komen en je kunt het mes (in tegenstelling tot traditioneel vormgegeven santoku-messen) heel goed tussen duim en wijsvinger 'knijpen' waardoor je veel controle hebt over het mes terwijl je het op een natuurlijke manier vasthoudt. Het staal van de Global-messen is uitstekend: erg hard waardoor het lang scherp blijft. Slijpen is niet nodig....Global messen zijn heel goed in conditie te houden met een leren strop met wat compound (de paddle strop van Skerper is hier heel goed voor, maar de pocket strop kan ook). Ookal is het roestvrij staal, is het wel belangrijk om Global messen droog en schoon op te bergen om zogenaamde put-corrosie tegen te gaan.
