The **Hultafors Sledge ME 1200** is a practical sledge with a hand made from sandblasted and brightly lacquered iron. The head is forged by hand and has a tempered and sanded striking surface on both sides. The square shape ensures that this sledge is perfect for demolition work. 

## Hickory wood handle

Hultafors uses American hickory wood for the handles. This type of wood is exceptional in absorbing blows without breaking. As such it is perfect as a handle for axes and, of course, hammers.
