The Kizer Splinter is the successful result of the collaboration between Kizer and designer Ray Laconico. It is made of premium materials, and techniques have been used that are normally only found in knives from a higher price range. The Kizer Splinter has been designed with the intention of offering quality and luxury, and this starts as soon as you see the exclusive packaging. When you open this package you'll see that the knife is tucked neatly in the supplied pouch. It also comes with a very practical cleaning cloth. The knife feels very robust, and opens lightning fast thanks to the flipper. The ceramic ball bearings allow it to move really smoothly. The detent ball is also ceramic, which contributes to the pocket knife's durability.
Kizer Splinter: premium from blade to lock
The blade is made from CPM SV35VN and is razor-sharp upon delivery. This is a type of powder metallurgical steel that can easily be sharpened until razor-sharp. The tough stonewashed finish on the blade masks any traces of use. The anodised titanium handle offers a sublime grip. A frame lock locks the blade in place. The 3D milled deep-carry pocket clip can be switched over for both left-handed and right-handed use.
|Right or left-handed||left-handed, right-handed|
|Blade shape||drop point|
