The Kizer Mini Sheepdog is a sturdy pocket knife, designed by Chris Conaway from Sheepdog Knives. This is the smaller version of the first Kizer Sheepdog, which, when opened is 19.6 cm. When opened the Mini Sheepdog is only 15.8 cm. So a lot smaller! This makes the Mini Sheepdog a little more practical for daily use.
Striking is the ratio between the blade and the handle. The S35VN steel blade is massive compared to the 'normal' handle. As such the sheepsfoot blade might start to look a little like a cleaver. A pocket cleaver. The blade works with ball bearings. As a result the Mini Sheepdog opens easily and quickly. The solid, titanium framelock has been enhanced with a steel insert. As such wear and tear in the long run is prevented. You will definitely enjoy this knife for years to come!
