Full description
The Kizer Mini Sheepdog is a sturdy pocket knife, designed by Chris Conaway from Sheepdog Knives. This is the smaller version of the first Kizer Sheepdog, which, when opened is 19.6 cm. Striking is the ratio between the blade and the handle. The blade looks massive in comparison to the 'normal' handle. As such the sheepsfoot blade might start to look a little like a cleaver. A pocket cleaver. The blade works with ball bearings. As a result the Mini Sheepdog opens easily and quickly. The solid, titanium framelock has been enhanced with a steel insert. As such wear and tear in the long run is prevented. You will definitely enjoy this knife for years to come!
This is a special, limited edition. This version is namely enhanced with a Damasteel blade. This is a Swedish type of Damasteel, made from RWL34 and PSF27. Two types of powdered steel that are great on their own and when combined give the Damasteel its excellent sharpness retention. This specific version has a Vinland pattern. A rather random pattern in the Damasteel.
The Kizer Mini Sheepdog is a wonderful knife for everyday use. Only a couple of this remarkable version were made. While stocks last.
