The **Medford Midi Marauder** is a cool and robust pocket knife with a look and feel completely its own. Striking is the thickness of the blade in combination with the thickness of the handle. They both have the same thickness. As such the Slim Midi Marauder looks incredibly decent. Unique about this Midi Marauder is the fact that the handle is enhanced with a blue anodized finish, with a Cherry Blossom engraving. Fancy for such a beast.

 The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel. The hollow grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only a rare few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened a solid framelock keeps the blade in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result it symmetrically leans against the handle. This adds strength.

 CPM S35VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. It is, for stainless steel, rather tough and relatively easy to sharpen.

 Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. All blades are given a hollow grind that is applied by hand. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives. Knives that are available on our website are in stock and can immediately be shipped. However, be there in time: it might take a while for the new stock to arrive!
