The **Medford Praetorian Scout** is a large and robust pocket knife, produced by Medford Knife & Tool in the United States. This Scout version of Medford's famous Praetorian is slightly more affordable. 

The scales are made from G10 and enhanced with a titanium liner that takes care of the lock. Medford added a couple of subtle engravings in the G10 scales. They also came up with something clever regarding the pocket clip: underneath the clip the G10 is flattened. This ensures your pants pocket won't wear out as quickly.

D2 is a tool steel that will require maintenance and oil every once in a while./ Some budget knives use D2 as a cheap option with a rudimentary heat treatment. Medford, however, does whatever it can to turn D2 into an amazing type of steel with excellent qualities. As a result, you will enjoy your knife for much longer!

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives. Knives that are available on our website are in stock and can immediately be shipped. So make sure you don't miss out: it might take a while for new stock to arrive!
