The **Medford Smooth Criminal S45VN Red Handle Bronze Hardware** is a cool EDC pocket knife. For a Medford knife, this is a relatively light pocket knife. It is the result of the aluminium scales. The name 'Smooth Criminal' didn't appear out of thin air: this knife is incredibly flexible. It opens superfast thanks to the flipper and the ball bearings. When opened, a solid button lock locks the blade.

The blade is made from CPM S45VN steel. This is a premium type of powdered steel, which means that the steel has a very fine structure. For years, this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. For a stainless steel, it is fairly tough and relatively easy to sharpen. This version is enhanced with a satin finish. The flamed hardware adds a nice contrast.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. All blades are given a hollow grind that is applied by hand. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives. Knives that are listed as in stock on our website are available and can be shipped immediately.
