As I was really excited getting these stones i am sad to report that they didn't meet my expectations. 220 grit is very soft for s30v of my benchmade osborne. Blade was basically scraping off the stone creating thick paste. 800 grit is slightly better so I spent more time on it to get some solid edge on the blade but still not perfect. 3000 is for polishing which is ok. Looking forward to try Chocera pro of friend of mine to see the difference.

The 220 bit on the coarse side. 800 and 3000 are perfect. May opt to longer stones in the future. Especially if working on longer blades.
