The NiteCore T2 is a compact 'every day carry' LED torch with one Cree XP-E (R2) LED. Despite its small AAA battery, it has a maximum runtime of 28 hours in the lowest mode.

The torch can be operated by simply twisting the bezel clockwise to switch on and anti-clockwise to switch off. To select the various modes, simply switch the torch off for one second and then switch it back on again.

Grootste voordeel van deze T2(s) is dat hij maar 13mm dun is (en dat scheelt dus ècht tov 15mm) èn uit één AAA batterijtje langer dan 3/24 uur op medium/low-stand licht blijft geven. Grootste nadeel van deze (en van de meeste andere piepkleine ledlights) is de aan/uit-schakeling: dmv draaien van de kop. Aan een sleutelbos hangend is dat geen probleem, maar voor in een broek- of binnenzak totaal ONgeschikt. Ik heb deze twee keer twee dagen in het bekende piepkleine rare kwartronde extra zakje rechts-vóór (bij oa Levi's) in mijn spijkerbroeken gedragen (daar past-ie makkelijk in) en tweemaal was-ie binnen een/twee dagen compleet leeg – want die kop gaat onvermijdelijk tòch draaien in die broekzak en het lampje wordt daarin dan onzichtbaar en in no-time helemaal leeg getrokken. De extra fout in deze T2(s) is daarbij dat hij steeds begint in MAX-stand ipv medium – en dus ook maximaal snel leeg is bij onbedoeld aan-gaan. De bijgeleverde clip hield ook niet goed vast in de stevige spijkerbroek-stof, is ergens ongemerkt eraf gesprongen en nu dus foetsie. Het gevoelsmatige verschil in lichthoeveelheid tussen MAX- en Mediumstand is voorts te klein om gemakkelijk op te merken. De medium-stand is dus eigenlijk te hoog. Ik ga deze T2(s) nu maar aan mijn sleutelbos hangen, maar ook dan nog blijft die draaischakelaar gepiel: VIER standen heeft hij (Max-Med-Low-KnipperMax), en dat is er eentje teveel om praktisch te zijn (want KnipperMax en gewoon Max komen dus steeds direct na elkaar, superonhandig).
Het wachten is op een ledlight met dezelfde afmetingen EN met klikschakelaar. De kleinste die ik kon vinden die WEL zo'n schakelaar heeft, is de Fenix LD02, die op een verwaarloosbare 1mm na even lang is, maar helaas wel iets dikker (15mm), en die minder lang licht uit dezelfde ene AAA batterij kan halen.

gewoon een super vet "hebbe dingetje".. niks bijzonders als je de grote jongens in de led wereld gewend bent .. maar toch ENORM INDRUKWEKKEND is de licht-opbrengst in verhouding met zijn formaat .. echt super vet!! kan er niks anders van maken.. stop er alle AAA battterijen in die je wil:  AAA-lithium(niet-oplaadbaar).. AAA-alkaline.. of AAA-nickelmetalhydride(wel oplaadbaar).. voor zijn prijs.. niet laten en gewoon kopen!.. je hebt er geen spijt van geloof me maar.. ik vind hem namelijk vetter dan mijn tk35.. alleen al vanwege zijn formaat!!(net 3mm langer dan mijn pink) :D

Gekocht als lampje voor aan de sleutelhanger, en daar doet hij het perfect. Het selecteren van de licht-modus is wat stroef, maar ik verwacht dat dit wel moet om het lampje waterdicht te houden ;-)

Echt klein, handig ding om altijd bij te hebben, maar de manier waarop tussen de 3 standen gewisseld kan worden is niet zo praktisch, je moet nl. snel aan de bovenkant heen en weer draaien (aan/uit) om van stand te wisselen.

Zeer compact lampje, weegt amper wat.
Lichtopbrengst is heel groot. Sterkte regelbaar door aan de kop te draaien. Heldere communicatie over status bestelling.
