With the OP/TECH USA Utility Strap Sling it's very comfortable to wear your binoculars or camera. The weight is divided diagonally over your shoulder and does not hang on your neck. The broad thick neoprene seems to reduce the weight significantly. The binoculars or camera is attached with one or two side closures to the strap. It rests comfortably on your hip until you are ready to use it. Then a fast hand movement is enough to directly observe or photograph whatever you like. Camera or binoculars slide along the Sling. This works quite comfortably and fast.
A pair of binoculars is confirmed using the fast mounting loops that are put through the openings of the strap connection. Just get the stitch closure through the loop and you're done. A camera usually hangs on a single loop. If need be, you can use the second loop for attaching a battery holder, or mounting plate for a tripod shortcut.
