The Opinel No. 8 is the perfect example of an Opinel pocket knife with a wooden handle. Originally made for farmers in 1890 by Joseph Opinel. The Opinel pocket knife is a famous, but very affordable pocket knife for daily use.
The larger models are enhanced with the simple but effective Virobloc lock. It is formed by the ring that rotates around the pivot. As such the blade is blocked. A true classic.
The blade is made from stainless steel. It is thin, easy to sharpen and still very strong.
Please note: Opinel calls this knife 'khaki', but we believe it is more dark-green.
