The PUMA XP Pig Sticker 15 is a large hunting knife. The pakka wood handle has a fish scale pattern. This ensures that the knife is comfortable to hold and offers plenty of grip. The handle widens towards the blade, creating a beautiful finger guard. The large spear point blade is made from 440 steel. This is a stainless steel that retains its sharpness well and is also easy to sharpen. The combination of the size and shape of the blade make this knife excellent for finishing shot game such as deer and boar. This is reflected in the name Pig Sticker.

Outstanding blade for the purpose. Ive stuck hogs in spain , with this itll be a very fast human dispatch. The 15 is probably overkill where the 13 would do the same job.

For the price the Puma Pig Sticker 15 is an excellent knife. The fit and finish of the handle is very snug. The balance point is a fraction before the guard, so doesn't feel blade heavy at 9 3/4 inches. A good thick and sturdy blade, which came very sharp out-of-the-box, including the point, giving one confidence in its performance when sticking that pig! The sheath, albeit quite basic, is fair for the price, with very little rattle and no coming loose once the the retainer is secure. The only thing I would perhaps have liked would have been a lanyard hole and perhaps a hole in the sheath for running a paracord leg tie. Again, for the price I am very satisfied with my first purchase of Puma knife.
