The design of the **QSP Knife Grebe QS148-C2** focuses on speed and ease-of-use. This flipper with deep pocket clip makes it comfortable to carry in your pocket, easy to take out of your pocket and quick to open. The Grebe is available in different versions, tanto or clippoint, black or silver stonewash, 14C28N or S35VN steel and to make the choice even harder for you, there are also 4 different handle materials. 

## The blade of the QSP Knife Grebe

The blade is made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel, which is stainless, easy to sharpen and has excellent sharpness retention. The steel grade is subtly engraved on the blade and is not visible when the knife is opened, making for a clean look. The stonewash finish of the blade means you are less likely to see traces of use. The black stonewash finish ensures that the blade does not reflect in the sunlight.

You can easily open the knife with one hand thanks to the flipper-tab and the thumb stud on each side of the blade. You open the knife even faster and smoother thanks to the ceramic ball bearings. To maintain this smooth movement, it's important to add some oil to the hinge mechanism every once in a while. 

A button lock ensures the blade remains in place, whether open or closed. To close the knife, simply press the button and the blade will smoothly return to the handle. The flipper tab is slightly curved, allowing you to apply more pressure before opening, and when open it acts as a stopper to prevent your hand from sliding forward when using it. The combination flipper-tab, ceramic ball bearings and button-lock ensure hours of fidgeting fun.

## The handle of the QSP Knife Grebe

The handle is made from G10, a strong composite material made from glass fibres and synthetic resin. It is lightweight and is famous for its strength and grippy texture. In between the G10 scales you will find steel liners. 

The pocket clip was designed so that the knife can be worn tip-up', either on the left or right. The knife is barely visible in your pocket though still easy to grab with your dominant hand.
