The **Real Steel Harrier Fledgling 9466** is one of the most remarkable pocket knives from the Real Steel range. The materials are common. Carpenter CTS-204P steel for the blade, and a titanium handle with carbon fibre inlay. What makes this model so special is the remarkable milling work, the contours of the carbon fibre inlays and the technological innovations you don't see at first glance. This Fledgeling edition is a little smaller than the first Harrier.



The blade, for instance, hinges on a double row of ceramic ball bearings. They add more support to the blade on the inside of the handle. Because they are ceramic they don't wear out and will function for years to come. There is, however, more. The detent ball, which is pressed in the lockbar and ensures that the knife stays closed, is namely enhanced with an additional companion. So two detent balls. As such it moves even better. It also makes sure the lockbar won't hit the blade when the knife is closed.




The titanium handle contains two carbon fibre inlays. They fit perfectly inside. The remarkable, almost sculpted, shapes of the inlays make the layered carbon fibre look amazing. It almost looks like carbon fibre, damascus steel.



The lock side of the Fledgling is enhanced with a remarkable lock bar. When milling it out Real Steel took a special S-turn. A funny detail. Another special feature is the milled lockbar reduction that extends right to the lockbar itself. When you look at the blade again you see a similar slot moving from the thumb stud to the blade. These types of funny details finish the Real Steel Harrier.



The thick pivot is enhanced with a remarkable design. Not a pattern you have a fitting screwdriver for at home. That is why the knife comes with a special tool to adjust the pivot. Very user-friendly!
