The **Roselli Small Heimo 3" Knife** is a cool fixed knife, made in Finland. You use the Roselli Heimo for various tasks around the farm, or in the woods. The pointed tip is perfect for the more detailed tasks and with the belly of the edge you can even gut game. The large finger grooves ensure that you will always have enough grip in different circumstances. With this knife in hands you will immediately find yourself in Scandinavia.



## UHC steel: Ultra High Carbon.


Unique for Roselli is the UHC steel. It stands for *Ultra High Carbon*. At Roselli they specifically developed this type of carbon steel, just like the unique heat treatment process for excellent performances. The steel is namely hardened up to 66-68HRC! Without it becoming fragile! Not a lot of manufacturers are able to do this. Users appreciate the combination of the high hardness and the proper sharpness retention. Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. It will discolour. After use, clean and dry the blade and add a few drops of oil every now and then. In term a patina will form on the blade, making the knife your own. This high hardness works well for this knife, as long as it is used as a knife. To cut with it, not to split wood.



The handle is made from teak wood. You don't immediately expect this from a Scandinavian knife. Teak is relatively hard and can handle the elements well. It also looks amazing. It is, of course, for a reason that it has been used for years to produce furniture.



This knife comes with a simple leather sheath with belt loop. The maximum belt width is 5.5 cm. Innovative about this sheath it that the mouth is enhanced with a non-visible metal sleeve that ensures the knife stays in place.

As such he knows best how to treat steel to end up with the best results. It is what Roselli excels at. The hand of the master is often visible, you can tell that these knives were made by hand.
