The Spartan Blades Harsey TT Tactical Trout is an incredibly cool fixed knife, designed by Bill Harsey. This American master designer is one of the most influential knife makers of the past 30 years. His designs are made by various amazing companies, and used by knife enthusiasts worldwide.
The Spartan Harsey TT is a typical Harsey design. You can clearly see he became inspired by the classic boot daggers. The thumb ramp your thumb rests on is a typical Harsey characteristic. The blade is incredibly pointed. The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel. Because the spine of the tip is very thin the TT excels at piercing tasks. Because of the relatively large blade thickness the tip is also very strong.
The handle is made from linen micarta, with a subtle texture. Because of the finger grooves at the top and base of the handle you will always have enough grip. As such you never have to worry about slipping and ending up on the blade, or losing the knife. The end of the handle is tapered. Exactly where your shorter fingers (ring finger and little finger) fold around the handle. You immediately feel that Harsey and the men at Spartan Blades know what they are doing.
The Spartan Blades Harsey Folder TT comes with a sleek kydex sheath. The quality of the kydex sheath looks great and the fit, especially at first, is very tight. The large belt loop can handle all types of belts and can even be adjusted to make sure left-handed users and everyone who wants to wear it horizontally can use it as well.
