Full description
The Spartan Blades Ronin Shinto is a large fixed knife, designed by Tu Lam from Ronin Tactics. The founders of Spartan Blades are green baret veterans. During their enlistment Tu Lam was a part of their company in Okinawa. Today he is the trainer of the Ronin Tactics training school. An experienced soldier who trains soldiers, police officers and interested civilians on a daily basis. There are few people who are as qualified to design a tactical outdoor knife as he is.
The Spartan Shinto has a 14.8 cm long blade made from CPM S35V-steel. You immediately notice the royal recurve. In terms of shape it almost looks like a Kukri. And yet this knife is made for cutting instead of chopping. The wavy edge ensures that the material that is cut is pulled towards the edge. As such it works very efficiently.
The handle is made from top-quality micarta. Micarta is a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. In this case Spartan Blades used Double Black micarta. This means that both the synthetic resin and the textile are black. As such the structure of the micarta is hardly visible. You could even say it is G10, while it is still really micarta.
The Spartan Blades Ronin Shinto comes with a stunning cordura sheath with plastic insert. It is MOLLE compatible in the front and the back.
