The **Spyderco Introvert** is designed by Chris Knutson, a knife maker and expert in martial arts. The Introvert is, without a doubt a remarkable pocket knife. This is namely the first knife ever that has been enhanced with a flipper mechanism and a backlock! Spyderco achieved this by making a groove in the middle of the backlock the flipper moves through in a closed position. Incredibly innovative. As such you have the robustness of a backlock, and the quick and easy opening of the flipper. As a result you will get the best of both worlds!

 The introvert is a variation on the famous Spyderco Swick. Like with the Swick the Introvert has a large finger hole for your index finger. It also functions as the flipper. With this finger hole the knife won't easily slip from your hand during your daily cutting tasks. It gives the user a lot of control over the pocket knife. This makes the Introvert also a great knife for people who work in a warehouse. Because your index finger remains hooked through the finger hole you can still use your hand to, for instance, move a box.

 Spyderco selected a VG10-steel blade. A good and proven type of steel that retains its sharpness well. VG10 steel is also easy to sharpen if necessary. The handle is made from G10 and mounted on steel liners. The Introvert can easily be worn on a pocket with Spyderco's famous wire clip. You could also move it to the other side if you are left-handed.
