The WE Knife Malice 911B is a remarkable pocket knife, designed by Elliot and Chris Williamson from Ferrum Forge Knives. They are two brothers who started their own knife brand a couple of years ago. Completely focused on robust top-quality pocket knives with the most remarkable finishes, The WE Knife Malice is clearly different from most Ferrum Forge knives. There are, however, some familiar characterizing design elements. The milled part in the blade and the robust simplistic construction are a great example.
WE Knife used Böhler M390 steel for the blade. With the Böhler M390 WE Knife clearly emphasizes that this knife is made to be used. This Austrian super steel retains its sharpness well and is not prone to rust. As mentioned before the blade has a beautiful milled groove. This is not only decoratively speaking very nice, it can also be used to open the knife. Not really your thing? No problem. The Malice can also easily be opened with the flipper.
The titanium handle is very solid and has subtle curves. As a result the handle nicely fills the palm of your hand and you will never be bothered by sharp edges that will hurt your hand during use. The first thing you notice when you look at this knife is the finish of the handle. The handle is enhanced with, what WE Knife calls, a marble blue finish. This is a marble pattern that emerges by heating titanium with a blowtorch. This pattern runs all over the pocket clip and the backspacer, making it almost look like the handle is made from one piece of titanium. Incredibly cool!
