This **Wüsthof Silverpoint eight piece knife set**contains five ideal kitchen knives for the amateur cook(a chef's knife, carving knife, bread knife, paring knife and peeling knife), scissors, a sharpening steel and a knife block. The blade is of stainless steel X50CrMoV15- and the ergonomically designed handle is of high-quality synthetic plastic. This means that the blades can be placed in the dishwasher, but we do not recommend that.

 Thanks to the different production process the knives' blades are cut from stainless steel plates, the plastic handles are from the Silverpoint line which is very cheap compared to some other Wüsthof series. Due to the choice of material these knives weigh next to nothing. This is an advantage for the average hobbyist, especially when you have already been cutting for a long time. The blades are not only light but above all razor-sharp, cutting hardly takes any effort!
