The blade is made of ice-hardened Friodur steel. During this treatment, the steel is heated to 1000 ° C and cooled to-70 ° c in four stages. This sophisticated technology, made to perfection by Zwilling, ensures sharpness, durability, elasticity and corrosion resistance. Sharpening the knife goes in 5 steps, which results in a perfectly sharpened knife. The crop of the knife does not run until the edge of the blade so it can be sharpened on a stone easily.
Thanks to the seamless design and the materials used the Zwilling Twin Cuisine series can go in the dishwasher. We still advise not to do this because the soap and the inevitable moving around inside the dishwasher will not do the knife good.
