The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. You can get very small versions or fairly large ones. The series 'My First Opinel' is especially intended for children. The rounded tip minimizes the risk to injuries. Of course the blade is normally ground, to make it fit for real use. The My First Opinel-series is available in several cheerful colours.  
  


This pocket knife is equipped with the simple but effective Virobloc-lock system. The blade is locked by the ring that can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in true sense of the word.

heb deze gekocht en met naam van een jonge scout laten graveren . Erg geslaagd kado . Mes is veilig voor de wat jongeren, maar desondanks wel een scherp lemmet zodat ze een takje etc etc er mee kunnen bewerken.
