The Spyderco Reveal Volume 18 is here! We also see old classics in a fresh Sprint Run edition, like the Meerkat, Dyad Jr., and the Balance with CPM SPY27 steel.
Spyderco Shaman Lightweight C229PBK & Spyderco Shaman Lightweight C229SBK Serrated
The Spyderco Shaman Lightweight is a robust and versatile pocket knife from Spyderco’s popular Shaman series, designed by Sal Glesser. This Lightweight variant with an FRN handle offers the same powerful performance and ergonomics as the original, but in a package that is 15 grams lighter and more affordable! There is also a version with a serrated edge for cutting fibrous materials like rope and cardboard.
Classics in a Sprint Run jacket: Spyderco Dyad Jr. Lightweight CPM SPY27 C39P-SCBL, Spyderco Balance CPM SPY27 C141GPCBL, and Spyderco Meerkat Lightweight CPM SPY27 C64PCBL
Spyderco breathes new life into several legendary models with a striking Sprint Run series, featuring CPM SPY27 steel and an iconic cobalt blue handle. This steel was developed specifically for and with Spyderco and is known for its excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness.
The Spyderco Meerkat Lightweight, Balance, and Dyad Jr. Lightweight are three iconic models, each standing out in their own way within this Sprint Run series. The Meerkat features the unique Phantom Lock mechanism, which unlocks the blade by sliding the handle scale—a clever solution in a compact and stylish design, ideal for everyday carry. The Balance, designed by Ed Schempp, is a study in symmetry: perfectly balanced when closed or open, with an ergonomic grip that rivals much larger knives. The Dyad Jr. combines two different blades—a serrated sheepsfoot and a full-flat ground clippoint—into one compact folder, each with its own Spydie-hole and back lock. The clipless design ensures comfortable carry without sacrificing versatility.
New CPM SPY27 models
Just like in Reveal Volume 17, we once again see many regular models in a CPM SPY27 version with a striking cobalt blue handle. Think of the Bodacious, Yojimbo 2, MicroJimbo, and the Police 4 Lightweight.
Spyderco Starmate C55G20CVP Sprint Run Bob Terzuola design
The Spyderco Starmate is a remarkable reissue of an iconic tactical folding knife, developed in collaboration with knifemaker Bob Terzuola. Bob is considered one of the pioneers of the modern tactical knife and worked with Spyderco on the original Starmate back in the 1990s. This limited Sprint Run edition blends his vision with modern Spyderco technology. A striking detail is the inlaid Spyderco and Terzuola logos in the handle—trademark features of Terzuola's work.
Spyderco COBOL C273TIP Paul Alexander design
The Spyderco COBOL is a striking EDC folding knife from Spyderco’s SLIPIT series—non-locking slipjoint knives. The COBOL was designed by Paul Alexander, a mechanical engineer and knife enthusiast who has created several knives for Spyderco. With his first slipjoint knife, the NAND, he introduced his techno-primitive design style, blending sleek futuristic lines with classic simplicity. The COBOL builds on that concept with a more katana-inspired, Asian-style aesthetic. Super cool!
Spyderco Chaparral Red Fatcarbon C152CFRDP
This Spyderco Chaparral is an exclusive gentleman’s knife, designed by Sal Glesser. The Chaparral series is where Spyderco experiments with unique and premium handle materials. Spyderco Bug C133AP Nickel Silver Abalone
The Spyderco Bug Nickel Silver Abalone is a luxurious edition of Spyderco’s smallest folding knife. Despite its compact size, this version makes a big statement thanks to its premium finish and use of high-end materials. The handle scales are crafted from nickel silver and feature an abalone inlay. A true collector’s item and a functional accessory for your keychain in one!
Spyderco Moran Upswept FB01PGYD Damasteel Sprint Run – Bill Moran design
This Spyderco Moran is a stylish tribute to knifemaker Bill Moran—a legendary figure in the knife world and founder of the American Bladesmith Society. Released to commemorate both the 30th anniversary of Spyderco’s first fixed blade and what would have been Moran’s 100th birthday, this Sprint Run is a limited edition. A truly fitting homage in every detail.
Spyderco Metropolitan Lightweight C213PBK
The Spyderco Metropolitan is a compact EDC folding knife from Spyderco’s popular SLIPIT series. It combines the convenience of clip carry and one-handed opening with the safety of a non-locking slipjoint mechanism. Designed to comply with European knife regulations, the Metropolitan is a great alternative to the Spyderco UK Penknife and Urban models.
