The **American Service Knife The Iron Sides** is a high-end multi-purpose pocket knife and a tribute to the insatiable American craving for freedom. 'Murica! This knife bears the name of the USS Constitution, a US warship that became famous as 'Old Ironsides' after a legendary confrontation with the British ship Guerriere on August 19th, 1812. The story goes that British cannonballs simply ricocheted off against the Constitution's sturdy, triple oak sides.

'The Iron Sides' is not just any knife, it's a tribute to greatness combined with functionality. Made with passion for American craft and designed for adventurers. ASK Knives products are 100% made in the United States. It's the sister brand of Medford Knife & Tool. 

## The Iron Side tools

This knife is bursting with confidence and handy tools! It has a large knife, a 1/4"" Dzus fastener and a bottle opener with flathead screwdriver. 

### Blade

You open the Seax-style blade with the nail nick. A slipjoint keeps the blade in place. A slipjoint won't completely lock the blade. This means you can legally carry the knife in many parts of Europe.

### Bottle opener

With the integrated bottle opener you can open a cold drink. There is a flathead screwdriver at the end of the bottle opener. Suitable for smaller screws.

## 1/4"" Dzus fastener

This tool was new to us, but it most closely resembles a large flathead screwdriver. It's also very suitable for prying open paint cans. In addition, this tool has two spanners for 1/4"" (0.635 mm) and 3/8"" (0.9525 mm) bolts.
