Full description
The Bestech Bowietie BT1906 is a cool pocket knife, made from great materials. As the name already suggests this pocket knife has a bowie-shaped blade. You recognize that shape in the pointed, slightly upward facing tip. Originally such a 'clippoint' was designed for hunting purposes. Today people appreciate the graceful shape for its aesthetical value.
The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. This is a type of steel that retains its sharpness well. In addition, M390 is stainless. Great qualities for a EDC pocket knife such as this. It is a premium option you often find on the best knives.
For the handle Bestech used a thick sheet of titanium, and milled out integral bolsters. The cut-out contains marbled carbon fibre inlays. A fancy material, for an exceptional look and feel.
Technically speaking the Bestech Bowietie is really well equipped. The framelock, for instance, is enhanced with a hardened, steel insert that will ensure the lock will function for years to come. Bestech also added ceramic ball bearings, both around the pivot and for the detent ball. The 3D milled, titanium clip finishes the whole.
All in all the Bestech Bowie is an exceptionally cool knife, for a great price. An asset to every collection.
