The Bestech TAIPAN BT2503D is a pocket knife intended for EDC use, designed by Australian knife designer James Lowe. Lowe is known for his distinctive and alternative blade shapes; and the Taipan is no exception. This is because the blade has a modified wharncliffe shape with an extremely thin hollow grind. And we are not exaggerating; this knife has only 0.15 millimetres of steel behind the edge! As a result, the Bestech Taipan slices like no other. What also immediately stands out is its excellent ergonomics, and the relatively firm grip it offers for a titanium handle. This is due to the extremely fine milling applied to the titanium.
