Full description
The Böker Enigma Cocobolo is a versatile pocket knife with no less than two different blades. A large 9.2 cm blade, and a small 6 cm blade. Remarkable about this knife is that the large blade is locked by a backlock mechanism when opened. You unlock this blade by pressing the spine of the small blade. This will press down on a lever that is located in the backlock mechanism of the large blade, which removes the force. Now you can close the blade. Very ingenious and, at the same time, incredibly simple when you think about it. The small blade is enhanced with a slipjoint mechanism.
Both blades are made from 440C-steel. A good type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The practical aspect of two blades is that you can use one blade for the more demanding tasks, and keep the other razor-sharp for the smaller, more detailed tasks. You can easily open both blades with the nailnick.
Böker selected cocobolo wood for the handle. A stunning type of wood with a luxurious look and feel. Chic brass liners are placed in between the scales that provide extra flair. All in all: the Böker Enigma is a stunning, practical and nicely designed pocket knife that is definitely worth a try!
