Böker Plus Caracal Folder 42 01BO753 pocket knife, Boris Manasherov design

This is my second folder from the Boker range and again, I'm not disappointed. Its design encompasses everything I like in a knife -drop point, satin finish, high flat grind and a good quality steel (D2 tool steel). If there's a criticism it's that its locking mechanism is a little too easy to open and close however, a cleverly hidden pin is available to turn it into a fixed blade should the job at hand require it, thus removing any concerns of accidental closure. I found the G10 scales a little sharp on the fingers on the underside of the grip, easily remedied with a rub from a 600 grit paper. The pocket clip was uncomfortable in the palm after some use but again, easily fixed by swapping it to the other side. The Caracal folder is a big, solid knife, beautifully designed and well constructed. Recommended.
