Böker Plus F3 CF, by Jesper Voxnaes

I bought this knife as a more expensive replacement for another Boker that I had to return to knivesandtools and was left disappointed again. so, my first impression of this knife was good. Looks great, nice weight, very chunky, solid knife. But yet again on close inspection, I was left disappointed. The finish on the blade edge is terrible. It's sharp but with a burr and there is also a small nick which I'm fairly sure will come out with a resharpening. This is the only reason I'm not sending it back. I contacted Boker directly to explain my issues and their reply to me was to purchase their more expensive German made range as their quality control was second to none. This really annoyed me. I've just paid around £150.00 pounds for a knife and their excuse for the shoddy finish is basically that it's not one of their German made models. I don't blame knivesandtools for this at all, their service has been as perfect and consistent as ever. But, I won't be buying a Boker again.Their quality control sucks.
