The **Böker FR** is a light-weight gentleman's knife, designed by Brad Zinker. A chic design, premium materials and a blade on ball bearings: the Böker FR has it all.




The blade of the Böker FR is made from Japanese VG10 steel. A very popular piece of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. In addition, VG10 steel is easy to sharpen. You open the pocket knife with the flipper. The blade shoots from the handle to be secured by a titanium framelock.




For this version of the FR Böker decided to save a lot of weight. The titanium scales are milled where possible to remove as much material as possible. Of course without compromising on the solidity of the frame.

Het is een erg mooi en kwalitatief goed mes. Komt ook goed scherp uit het doosje. De fipper action is heel erg leuk om mee te spelen, erg plezierig! Minpunt vind ik dat je altijd serieus goed moet opleten bij het dichtklappen.  Door het ontwerp is het risico dat je bij het dichtklappen een stuk van je vinger raakt redelijk groot. Bij andere messen heb ik dit niet. Gezien de prijs had ik dit niet verwacht.

Fijn edc mesje, door de flipper wat beperkte handruimte, net vier vingers. Wel zeer goede afwerking en kwaliteit, niet echt een koopje maar zeker de moeite waard. Ga nog eenzelfde mes bestellen maar dan met nailnick. VG 10 is een goed staalvoor dagelijks gebruik, goed scherp te krijgen en te houden.
