Comes hair-splitting sharp out of the box but dulls easily. The steel is on the softer side and showed signs of wear after the first use. You have to be careful not to hit the thumb studs when sharpening. Opening is stiff, with audible friction. One-handed opening is technically possible but difficult, even after oiling the pivot and two weeks of regular use. Blade has lateral and vertical play and you can feel it flexing while cutting. Cannot be adjusted or taken apart due to the riveted construction. I do not recommend this knife.
