The Condor Blue River Knife 2825-4.3HC is a very cool outdoor knife. Everything about this knife refers to the native Americans of the United States. The Colorado River served as a source of inspiration for this knife. Hence the beautiful turquoise decoration of the handle.
The blade of the Condor Blue River Knife is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle. The file work on the spine of the blade truly turns this knife into something special.
The handle is made from walnut wood. The scales are secured with decorated pins. A reconstructed piece of turquoise was placed in between the walnut scales on both sides. This is ground turquoise stone that is bound together with a type of epoxy in order to turn the too small pieces of turquoise into a usable handle material. It is also more stable than pure turquoise. The Condor Blue River Knife comes in a traditional leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 6.5 cm. The sheath is nicely decorated with a ribbon with a pattern.
