The **CRKT Homefront** is a unique pocket knife designed by Ken Onion. At first glance this knife might seem a little simple: a design inspired by knives used during the war, flipper, satin finish, and that's it. It is only when you've been using it for a while and decide that it needs to be cleaned that you'll realise what an amazing design this is. You can take it apart in only thirty seconds and reassemble it in the same amount of time. Seriously? Yes, seriously.

This Field Strip Technology, patented by Ken Onion, is so simple it's hard to imagine that it didn't exist before. Turn a latch, loosen the wheel: open. You clean it and then repeat the process, but in reverse. Within thirty seconds it will be fully assembled again. Which is ideal when you're working in surroundings where dirt is a problem. Perfect for soldiers, mechanics and hunters, for instance. 

The blade is made from Japanese AUS8 steel, a very tough type of stainless steel. It's easy to sharpen, making it ideal for a knife that sees a lot of use. The flipper opens the blade with a firm click. When opened, the liner lock keeps the blade in place. The handle is made from aluminium.
