Full description
The ESEE Libertariat Expat Machete is a light-weight machete for an amazing price. It was designed by Expat Knives. This is an anonymous world traveller who has designed a couple of knives for ESEE. Due to his worldwide experience in the most inhospitable environments he knows better than anyone what a knife has to be capable of. This affordable ESEE Expat Machete is the machete you take with you when you are ready to enter the jungle, or simply need to prune some bushes.
The blade is made from 1075 carbon steel. This is not stainless but can definitely handle its own. The handle is made from walnut wood and secured with four brass rivets. The end of the handle is enhanced with a lanyard eye. You add a wrist strap to it before use. If, for instance, you lose your grip during use it won't go anywhere.
This Libertariat machete is made for ESEE Knives by Condor Knives in their factory in El Salvador. It comes with a simple nylon sheath with belt loop. The maximum belt width is approximately 6.5 cm.
