This Fissler Original Pro Collection pan is one of Fissler's most popular pan collections. These pans are designed by professionals, for professionals. Made from top-quality 18/10 stainless steel, to make sure you can enjoy it for years to come.
Top-quality CookStar base
The top highlight of the Original Pro collection is the CookStar base. This base can be used on any heat source. Fissler Original Pro Collection pans are therefore also suitable for induction hobs. Not only can this base be used on induction, but you can easily switch pans with a CookStar base between different types of heat source without the bottom warping, which can sometimes happen in lower-quality pans. This series can also be used in the oven.
The pans in the Fissler Original Pro Collection have steel cold grips. These handles don't transmit the heat when used on electric stoves (electric, induction, ceramic and halogen). This means you can safely hold the handle with bare hands. However, they can get hot on gas stoves (depending on the size of the flame).
The lids of these Original Pro pans are solidly constructed. They effectively seal in all moisture and heat. There is also a downward dent in the middle of the lid, so all the condensation automatically returns into the pan, making your food even juicier. It also means you don't have to deal with lots of water when you take the lid off the pan.
The pans in the Fissler Original Pro Collections have a practical measurement indicator on the interior of the pan. Pouring from the pan is also a breeze thanks to the specially optimised rim.
Fissler pans have been renowned worldwide for more than 150 years. These are top-quality pans that will last for generations. Are you looking for the best pans money can buy? Fissler has got you covered.
Pans with no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE
The abbreviation PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. These are man-made substances that do not naturally occur in the environment. Some examples of PFAS are GenX, PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acids). PFAS is an umbrella term for all these substances, which are used in many products, including frying pans, grill pans and wok pans. PFAS have useful properties: among other things, they are repellent to water, grease and dirt. However, we now know that PFAS are harmful to health.
Teflon is the commercial name for various plastic fluoropolymers, such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). PFAS is used to make these plastic fluoropolymers. Teflon provides the product with a water-repellent and dirt-repellent layer, and it is also heat-resistant. PTFE also allows two surfaces to slide over each other easily. That is why PTFE can be found in pans with a non-stick coating. In other words: they're all the same thing. This pan is free from PFAS, PFOA and PTFE. So you can use this pan with complete peace of mind.
