The **Helle Trofé 85** is a cool fixed knife, designed for all-round outdoor use. From hunting to bushcraft: this traditional Norwegian knife will excel everywhere. The blade is made from Helle's laminated stainless steel. It retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. The handle is made from dark oak wood, curly birch and stag horn.



Of course these materials look amazing, but the handle also needs to feel good in hand. Fortunately Helle didn't forget about that. Not surprisingly the Helle Trofé feels great in hand. Even during long-term use.



The Helle Trofé comes with a leather belt sheath.



**Maintenance**
Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommended occasionally adding wax or oil. The sheath should occasionally be impregnated with a colourless agent (grease or wax) to make sure it stays flexible. Dry the sheath carefully at room temperature if it gets wet.



All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. As such each knife is a unique masterpiece because every pattern is different. The black blade of this knife cannot be used for engravings. The results won't look good.

Well Packed with outer carton, cardboard tube containing sheath,knife, cleaning cloth & maintenance brochure. Attractive brown leather sheath with belt loop and retaining strap. Well finished wood/ bone handle fits nicely in hand. Overall impression of Quality ..............However, my sample had crudely finished brass ferrule and sharp tang requiring several minutes finishing with a diamond stone and abrasive paper, to re-profile, improve cosmetic appearance and aid insertion into sheaths leather button hole.  Therefore a little disappointing quality control based on reputation and at this price point.
