This Hultafors Hult Premium splitting axe is perfect for splitting firewood. Its heavy 1.5 kg head takes care of a devastating blow when it touches the block. Even though in general a splitting axe doesn’t rely on its sharpness, this axe is razor-sharp. The edge has even been polished! The name ‘Hult’ means forest in ancient Swedish. With it one refers to the region of Hults Bruk where Hultafors forges their axes. The name is derived from the surroundings in the region: very woodsy.
