The **Kershaw Fraxion** is a light-weight pocket knife, designed by Jens Ansø. This Danish master designer turned the Fraxion into a modern winner. The handle is made from a laminate with G10 and carbon fibre. The top layer of this *twill-woven*carbon fibre, secured on a layer of G10. The whole was enhanced with a small steel liner to take care of the lock.




The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is enhanced with a nice hollow grind. KVT ball bearings were places around the pivot. These guarantee that the knife moves smoothly and opens quickly with the help of the flipper. Because of the materials used and the construction the Fraxion only weighs a fraction of a comparable knife this size: only 55 grams. With the Fraxion Ansø once again demonstrates that he is one of the best pocket knife designers in the world today.
