Full description
The Kizer Minitherium KI3502 is a smaller version of the famous Megatherium. As the name already suggests, the Megatherium is mega, the Minitherium is mini. Of course you shouldn't take this too literally. With a blade length of 7.2 cm the Minitherium is not exactly small. Because of the high blade the knife also feels substantial in hand.
The knife has a large wharncliffe blade made from stainless CPM S35VN steel. Complete with a stonewashed finish, a large opening and a flipper. The Minitherium is designed by Elijah Isham. His love for surrealistic art is easy to spot in this design. Characterizing for his designs is the 'Edge Below Tab'. Here the edge is lower than the flipper which stays nice and hidden when the knife is opened. You can easily open the blade with the flipper. Thanks to the ceramic ball bearings the knife moves smoothly and will shoot from the handle. Once opened a linerlock will keep the blade in place.
The handle of this Kizer Minitherium is different from the one on the Megatherium. The Minitherium is namely completely made from carbon fibre. Striking is the large finger choil that offers enough grip. The stylish titanium pocket clip finishes the knife. With it you can easily attach the Megatherium to your belt or jeans to make sure you will always have it close.
