The Kizer Task 1 is a stylish pocket knife, designed by Uli Hennicke. At first glance, this knife looks fairly simple. Maybe even “the umpteenth titanium frame lock”. But when you hold it in your hands and take a good look at it, you can see and feel that this is an exceptional pocket knife.
The Task 1's slim profile, combined with its appealing blade shape & length, makes this a knife that you'll always want to have with you. You can quickly open the S35VN steel blade with the double thumb stud. When opened a solid framelock holds the blade in place. This has a steel insert to prevent wear and tear in the (very) long term. The blade runs really smoothly on the ceramic ball bearings, and the detent ball is also ceramic. The hardness of the ceramic balls makes this an extremely durable solution.
What is most striking about the T1 is the remarkably good price/quality ratio. You will normally only find these materials and special features on knives that are much more expensive. This makes the Task 1 a real shining star.
The handle is made from titanium, and the beautiful contours of the handle are very nicely milled. Style and quality: you can tell straight away that this is a serious gentleman's knife. Nevertheless, its sturdy construction still makes it well suited to accomplish somewhat heavier tasks. We therefore think the Task 1 is totally ready to serve as your loyal partner.
