This 12 cm Laguiole en Aubrac pocket knife is the epitome of elegance. Each knife is modified by hand to ensure a refined finish of beautiful patterns. The knife has double liners, so more room for decorations! The spine of both the blade and the spring on the back of the handle and the liners are decorated. On top of the front bolster we can find the characteristic Laguiole bee. All of this is done by hand in the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop in the French Aubrac-region. The blade is made from stainless Sandvik 12C27MOD-steel. The bolsters and blade are polished for a luxurious look and feel. The side of the handle is enhanced with the characteristic Laguiole shepherd’s cross.
The handle is made from wavy maple. This is maple wood which naturally has a fine wave in the grain. Each knife is modified by hand and assembled. In addition, the handle is made from a natural material. As such each knife is unique. The file patterns can also differ per knife and deviate from the photograph.
