This Lodge Dutch Oven (shallow) with lid can do it all. Use it on the stove, in the oven, or over an open flame. You can stack hot coals on top of the lid, or turn the lid over and use it as a baking dish. For high heat simply place the pan on top of hot coals. Because of the feet it will always be at the right height. Do you prefer slow cooking? If so hang the pan over an open flame using a tripod! The cast-iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it.
