The MKM Jouf is a large and decent fixed knife, designed by Bob Terzuola. With the Jouf this master designer was able to design a knife that makes the hearts of most knife enthusiasts skip a beat. This is a type of model that will immediately leave a mark. The stunning, sleek lines with the typical Terzuola style turn this knife into a functional work of art.
G10 was chosen for the handle. A rock-solid type of material that can handle its own. Remarkable is how the tang of the blade is only partially covered by the handle. As such the handle is slightly more isolated which is great in very hot or cold circumstances. Because of the large knife guard you won't run the risk of ending up on the edge when your hand slips.
Böhler N690Co was selected for the blade. A tough, incredibly stainless type of steel that is often used for fixed knives. Easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well: exactly what you want.
The MKM Jouf comes in a stunning nylon sheath. The sheath is MOLLE compatible and offers you the possibility to attach your knife to your belt, bag, or any other surface enhanced with MOLLE loops.
Where does MKM Knives come from?
MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city: Maniago, northern Italy. The knife capital of the south of Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers. This MKM Jouf is made by Fox Cutlery.
