The **Rick Hinderer Investigator Pen** is a slim tactical pen, designed by knife maker Rick Hinderer. With a total length of only 11.1 cm and a diameter of 9.4 mm this pen won't stand out in your chest pocket. The subtle pocket clip will keep the pen in place, without being noticed. Hinderer selected a Fisher Space pen refill as the refill.



The cap is attached with a screw thread. The back of the pen is also enhanced with these coarse threads. When you write you add the cap to the back. The side of the pen has been enhanced with massive grooves. These grooves provide you with a lot of grip. As befits a real Hinderer this pen has a modular construction. Different parts are therefore interchangeable.




Please note: brass will form a patina in time. This is normal and gives your pen a lot more character. If you prefer to keep it shiny you can remove the patina with copper polish.

Het is duidelijk geen pen om productie te maken of je memoires te schrijven. Hij is solide en ligt goed in je hand. Hij is duur en dus ben je er zuinig op. Ik heb hem in mijn jacht rugzak om altijd bij de hand te hebben als ik MOET schrijven.
Punten van aandacht: 
De rubberen ring voor de clip laat de clip moeizaam losschroeven. 
Voor de hardstalen tip is geen rubberen ring mee geleverd, terwijl hij daar juist echt nodig is. De tip laat gemakkelijk los, waardoor stift en veertje naar buiten komen en gemakkelijk kwijt raken.
