This Robert Herder steak knife 12 cm easily cuts through any type of steak thanks to the exceptional thin grind that Robert Herder is known for. Half of the cutting edge also has micro-serrations, towards the tip.
The blade is made from stainless steel, or chrome molybdenum vanadium to be precise. which is nice and easy to maintain. The handle is made from POM and secured with four brass rivets. POM is a durable plastic that is used by Solingen knifemakers, among others. It feels great in hand and is also maintenance-free. Nevertheless, this knife is not dishwasher-safe.
