Before I bought this knife I was a bit wary, I had read one or two reviews that said that the ones that they got from various places had been a bit shoddy. There was no such problems with this one at all, from openng the box I could see it was impressive. The quality is unbeatable at such a cheap price, it's sharp, straight, and well built, and not too weighty. The handle is lovely, and the brass impressive. Overall, it's beautiful. I bought it to pput in a display box, but it's probably the most used knife in my collection now.

After waiting two months, the knife arrived with visible damage and discolouration on the blade and butt, and the tang was visibly out from the handle. Very disappointing (but this is the first time I've been disappointed with a product from Knives and Tools).
