The Spring Brigade Premium 20 cm sauté pan with a capacity of 2.0 litres is the perfect all-round pan for both professional and amateur chefs. With its high rim, this pan is perfect for boiling vegetables and preparing sauces. Thanks to the ergonomic shape you can reach the far edges of the pan with your whisk or wooden spoon. This means you can ensure no food is left behind that could burn.
Unique 5-layer construction
The Spring Brigade Premium sauté pan has a 5-layer construction that ensures optimal heat conduction. The outer layer is made from 18/0 stainless steel. This type of steel makes the pans suitable for induction. The inner layer is 18/10 stainless steel. The 18 stands for 18% chromium and the 10 stands for 10% nickel. This is an excellent choice in terms of composition, because of chromium's durability and nickel's clarity. There is a 3-layer aluminium core between the inner and outer layers. Because of this structure, heat is evenly spread from the bottom to the edge of the pan and thus to the contents from all sides. As a result, your food is brought to temperature more evenly. This makes the pans more efficient and more economical.
For safety, the handle is made from stainless steel. If used correctly, the handles of the pan remain cool enough to grasp without hurting yourself. The pan does need to be used on a suitable gas hob or cooking zone for this to be possible. Another benefit of the Spring pans from this series is that they are suitable for oven use. This means you can easily keep your dishes at the right temperature and full of flavour. The pans are also dishwasher-safe.

Pans with no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE
The abbreviation PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. These are man-made substances that do not naturally occur in the environment. Some examples of PFAS are GenX, PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acids). PFAS is an umbrella term for all these substances, which are used in many products, including frying pans, grill pans and wok pans. PFAS have useful properties: among other things, they are repellent to water, grease and dirt. However, we now know that PFAS are harmful to health.
Teflon is the commercial name for various plastic fluoropolymers, such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). PFAS is used to make these plastic fluoropolymers. Teflon provides the product with a water-repellent and dirt-repellent layer, and it is also heat-resistant. PTFE also allows two surfaces to slide over each other easily. That is why PTFE can be found in pans with a non-stick coating. In other words: they're all the same thing. This pan is free from PFAS, PFOA and PTFE. So you can use this pan with complete peace of mind.
