Viper Golia Evolution 4003ECB D2, Black Micarta, fixed knife
The Viper GoliaDavid is a large fixed knife, designed by Tommaso Rumici. For this knife, he drew inspiration from the biblical tale of David and Goliath. Unsurprisingly, then, he also designed the David alongside the Golia. A smaller version of this colossus. Ideal for tactical applications, but also for hunting and survival.
The Golia has a substantial D2 steel blade with a blackwashed finish. It's sturdy, resistant to breakage, and has excellent sharpness retention, plus the blackwash gives it a tough look. The high flat grind of the blade ends in a beautiful curved plunge line (the line formed by the start of the grind, just before the handle). Its round belly also makes the Golia ideal as a hunting knife for larger game. The Golia can handle gutting and skinning effortlessly.
The handle is made from micarta, a fantastic material made from linen and synthetic resin. It's comfortable, sturdy, and offers plenty of grip, even in wet conditions. The jimping on the spine of the blade provides extra grip for your thumb. There are holes on the front and back of the handle to accommodate a lanyard.
The Viper Golia comes with a sturdy black leg holster. This holster is made by Vega Holster, a top Italian holster manufacturer.
